Me, as lover of the green, the sea, the forest, the bicycle rides, the sunset aperos, the white sand and the peace, and the traditions with Spanish character here I found my white and red paradise:. Every year I return and here I leave you my little corners and secrets. If you like surfing and giant beaches, the West of France is your address.
Espelette is a small village in the heart of the Basque Country. The charm of the Basque architecture will seduce you right away. Espelette gets its fame from its famous Espelette chilli pepper. No, it is not the birthplace of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers! You will be able to discover during your stay, the production of the chilli pepper as well as all the products made from this famous condiment: I tasted the chilli chocolate, the chilli liquor, the chilli jelly and the delicious chilli jam with the cheese! I recommend to visit the small free museum of the typical Ossau-Iraty Basque cheese with a small tasting included :D
St Jean-pied-de-port, small village crossed by beautiful canals and steep streets. This village is an emblematic passage of the pilgrims of the road to Santiago de Compostela! You will find hostels for them in every street, and small shops selling the typical "espadrille shoes" and spices of all place!
I recommend the restaurant "Café Ttipia" where to eat not expensive specialties by the river outside
St Jean de Luz.
And here i found my little piece of Spain in France! By day a beautiful port full of animation and beaches, by night, my favourite moment, a festival of lights and music! Every week in the summer, the "Toro de fuego" show takes place and, as an anti-bullfighter,, it's the best non-animal show for me!
"The toro de fuego (from Spanish: bull of fire) is a pyrotechnic show parodying Spanish bullfighting. The show features a man dressed as a bull in its place of a real bull. To whose horns balls of flammable products are tied, which are lit at nightfall. The bull, thus released for an hour in the streets of the city, must be dodged by the festival-goers. Run with Care!"
All accompanied by the best tapas: croquettes and "queso curado"!

Moliets et Maa
And to finish my paradise of each year, Moliets and Maa. Surfers, vans, beaches and waves as far as the eye can see, My own California dream is only 6 hours away from my city.
You can hear the old rock, the guitars, the noise of the skateboard competitions, and one of my favourite summer singers that I discovered one night on the beach: Chris Paulson
The sweet white wine dinners on the beach, the nights looking for the stars lying on the dunes, the bicycle as the first and last means of transport.
